The CerarMist Difference 

 

CerarMist uses a "mechanical kill" method. Unlike traditional "chemical kill" methods used in disinfectants and cleaners today, mechanical methods are very unique and act like physical weapons. When CerarMist dries, typically within 10 minutes, it creates a layer of microscopic "spikes" or "swords". The molecular bond with the surface allows CerarMist to form a unique long lasting microscopic layer of molecules which kills on contact by piercing the cell walls and when used with a electrostatic sprayer, the microbes which naturally carry a negative charge are drawn to CerarMix and the cell wall is pierced immediately.

 

Traditional disinfectants and cleaners use a "chemical kill"method which literally "poisons" microbes using harmful ingredients which often times include volatile organic compounds ( VOC ) and hazardous air pollutants ( HAP ).These ingredients can be very toxic, irritating and some times deadly. Although this method is effective for initially killing harmful pathogens and bacteria, it only does so while "wet" which is typically 3 to 10 minutes. After they dry, should someone cough or sneeze on a surface or it otherwise comes in contact withbacteria mold mildew and other harmful molecules, the surface is instantly re-contaminated.
